1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using calibercounsel.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. The Site vs. Membership
These Terms govern your use of the Site itself — browsing, reading content, submitting forms. Your actual Caliber Counsel membership, if you enroll, is governed by a separate Membership Agreement specific to your selected tier, which controls over these Terms with respect to membership benefits, coverage, billing, and cancellation.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to own or possess a firearm under applicable law to enroll in a Caliber Counsel membership.
4. Educational Content Is Not Legal Advice
Content published on the Site, including blog articles and general legal information, is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consulting a licensed attorney about your specific situation.
5. Membership Enrollment
Enrolling in a paid membership tier requires acceptance of the applicable Membership Agreement, which is presented and must be affirmatively accepted before checkout. These Terms do not themselves create membership benefits.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to Company systems; interfere with the Site's normal operation; or misrepresent your identity or eligibility for membership.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, and the Caliber Counsel name and logo, is owned by Company or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
8. Third-Party Services
The Site uses third-party services, including Stripe for payment processing. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Company's liability arising from your use of the Site (as distinct from your membership, which is governed separately) is limited as set forth in this Section. Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Site use.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Company harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
